Externally Focused Life

S.C.U.M.-Youth Group

               This Lent season the youth at San Carlos UMC will join the rest of the congregation in the “Externally Focused Life” program.  The program will be specially created for youth; creative activities, faith discovery, and personal reflection. Youth are encouraged to attend each week throughout the Lent season so that they can get the most out of the Externally Focused Life program.

                You are encouraged to attend Sunday morning worship each week with your youth so you can bring this meaningful program home through shared experience and discussion.

February 10 Lent Preparation

February 14 Sunday Worship “Externally Focused Life” Kick-off

February 17 Ash Wednesday 7:00pm Worship (Youth Group meets at regular time)

February 21 & 24 EFL #1: “Writing God’s Story”

February 28 & March 3 EFL #2: “Merging Your Passion and God’s Purpose”

March 7 & 10 EFL #3: “Minding the Intersections”

March 14 & 17 EFL #4: “Delivering the Goods”

March 14 “Loaves & Fishes” outreach at Wesley UMC

March 21 & 24 EFL #5: “Learning to Leverage”

March 28 Palm Sunday

April 2 Good Friday Experience
