Youth News week of Sept. 21

Here's what is going on this week 9/21.

 Last week:

   We got to our second week of the program, What Time is it?- Choices: Balance & Priorities. We watched a scene from Monsters, Inc. where Sulley was going against the way everyone saw him on the outside to do what he truly believed he needed to do in his heart. We discussed how we are viewed by the people around us and if that is in balance with what we believe in our own hearts. As Christians, we are challenged to live out our faith so that it isn't a secret to people around us.

This Week:

Study Hall: Wednesday 2:30-5:00pm in the Fireside Room

-Come get your homework done before youth group. Snacks and refreshments provided.

Youth Group: Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm (TIME CHANGE) in Fellowship Hall

-We begin our school time schedule, dinner included.

Parent's Night Out: Saturday September 26 from 4:00-8:00pm

   This is an opportunity for a Youth Group fundraiser. Come and help lead this great event and community outreach. You can register online in the EVENT REGISTRATION!

Just because summer ends doesn't mean we stop doing fun, meaningful, and powerful stuff! For events beginning in September you can now register online and reserve your spot for the great upcoming activities. "Loaves & Fishes", Magic Mountain, Haunted Trail, and much more!
