Youth News week of Oct. 12

Here's what is going on this week 10/12.

 Last week:

   We went over the first week of our fear program: Fear in Our Lives & Fear in Our Faith. We had a great discussion on the fears we have along our faith journey as well as fears along our life journey. We were able to go beneath the surface and discuss some of our deep-seeded fears. We were all able to relate to the character Truman and the crippling nature of fear. We ended with the blessed assurance of God and Isaiah 43. 1-3 (check out trivia question).

This Week:

   We'll encounter the second week of the fear program and we've got our annual district trip to the Haunted Trail!

Study Hall: Wednesday 2:30-5:00pm in the Fireside Room

-Come get your homework done before youth group. Snacks and refreshments provided.

Youth Group: Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm in Fellowship Hall

-We begin our school time schedule, dinner included.

-Preschool Halloween Happening (Friday Oct. 30)

*If you are interested in helping out lead games and activities at the annual Preschool event. Please let Cody know ASAP. You'll need to be there from 5:00-8:00pm.

Just because summer ends doesn't mean we stop doing fun, meaningful, and powerful stuff! For events beginning in September you can now register online and reserve your spot for the great upcoming activities. "Loaves & Fishes", Magic Mountain, Haunted Trail, and much more!
