Youth News week of Oct. 19

Here's what is going on this week 10/19.

 Last week:

  We had an excellent discussion on Fear #2. We discovered that fear has so many different forms and there are many areas in our lives that fear can invade; School, Friendships, Activities outside school, Social life, Caring for others, or our Faith. Fear can creep in just about anywhere.  It is important that we share our fears or when we may feel anxiety so that as a community we can work together to overcome fear.

  We ended with the blessed assurance of God and Isaiah 43. 1-3 (check out trivia question).  When life throws difficult things our way we can feel comforted in the truth that God is there with us. We must always remember that we are not alone.

This Week:

   We'll encounter the second week of the fear program and we've got our annual district trip to the Haunted Trail!

Study Hall: Wednesday 2:30-5:00pm in the Fireside Room

-Come get your homework done before youth group. Snacks and refreshments provided.

Youth Group: Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm in Fellowship Hall

-We begin our school time schedule, dinner included.

-Preschool Halloween Happening (Friday Oct. 30)

*If you are interested in helping out lead games and activities at the annual Preschool event. Please let Cody know ASAP. You'll need to be there from 5:00-8:00pm.
