Youth News week of Oct. 26

Here's what is going on this week 10/26.

 Last week:

  We finished our program on Fear. We identified the different areas where we feel fear in our lives then we found the people, symbols, or words that inspire us to overcome those fears. We spoke of hope, risk, friendship, community, encouragement, and God. As we walk on the path of overcoming our fears we begin to focus on the blessing and strength of God instead of fears we have. Grace becomes the most powerful tool we can use against our fears!

  We ended with the blessed assurance of God and Isaiah 43. 1-3 (check out trivia question).  When life throws difficult things our way we can feel comforted in the truth that God is there with us. We must always remember that we are not alone.

Study Hall: Wednesday 2:30-5:00pm in the Fireside Room

-Come get your homework done before youth group. Snacks and refreshments provided.

Youth Group: Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm in Fellowship Hall

-We begin our school time schedule, dinner included.

-Preschool Halloween Happening (Friday Oct. 30)

*If you are interested in helping out lead games and activities at the annual Preschool event. Please let Cody know ASAP. You'll need to be there from 5:00-8:00pm.

Just because summer ends doesn't mean we stop doing fun, meaningful, and powerful stuff! For events beginning in September you can now register online and reserve your spot for the great upcoming activities. "Loaves & Fishes", Magic Mountain, Haunted Trail, and much more!
