Youth News week of Nov. 30

Here's what is going on this week 11/30.

 Last week:

We had a great time playing Frisbee Golf on Monday. Pictures will be posted on Photobucket this week!

This Week: We'll begin our 4-week Christmas program: "Re-Thinking Christmas"

This Christmas we aim to reconnect with the true meaning of the season. We return to the symbols (birth, manger, gifts), ideas (humility, sharing, community), and person (Jesus) that is the focus for Christians this time of year.

We follow the ideas presented by AdventConspiracy.org: Worship Fully, Spend Less, Give More, and Love All. This Christmas season let us go back to what the foundations of our faith are calling us to do.

Youth Group this week:    Week #1: Worship Fully

When we begin to refocus ourselves on the true meaning of Christmas we must be ready to worship the One. The Advent season gives us the opportunity for deep spiritual tradition and worship within our community. This week we will focus on Jesus Christ and how we can be in complete worship to him on Sunday mornings and every morning!
