Youth News Week of April 5

Here's what is going on this week 4/5.

 Last week:

  We finished the "Externally Focused Life" Lent program. We had an excellent youth-led discussion about all the themes we encountered. The Holy Week services were very powerful, thank you for everyone who attended. And the Easter services brought us into the season of new life and new opportunity!

  At Youth Group this week we'll take time to discuss some of the faith questions that you all have.

Come prepared to share those questions as well as where you are a long your faith journey!

Study Hall: 2:30-5:00pm in the Fireside Room

Youth Group: Wednesday 5:30-8:00pm in Fellowship Hall (Eat before you come, no dinner)

Rubio's Sunday! April 11 Go to the Rubio's Fresh Mexican Grill @ Grossmont Center and 20% of your order will go to UMY-SD Summer Camp!

Katrina Team Walk: Sunday April 18 (2:00-4:00pm) Mission Trails Regional Park

***Come and help raise money for the District Mission Team going to New Orleans. 

30 Hr Famine: April 23-24 ***Note the date change!

Health Fair: April 25 (8:30-11:30am)

Dodgeball Tournament: May 2

Golf Tournament: May 16

***We've got S.C.U.M.-Youth t-shirts for you!

Our 2 S.C.U.M. designs are $5 a piece. If you don't have both the Black or Green shirt then pick it up!

***We also have order forms for the UMY-SD t-shirts: OUR MISSION...  OUR COMMUNITY

They are $10 and come in a variety of colors. All money raised goes to help UMCOR in Haiti.
