Here's what is going on this week 6/28.

 Looking Back:

      River Trip 2010 was an amazing way to start the summer! In addition to waterskiing, enjoying the river, and doing all the normal fun stuff at the river, this was a unique experience. We read through the Book of Jonah and took the personal challenges from that story and put our discussions into action. In terms of hard work; we built a storage shed, rebuilt the dock and ramp, totally organized an older work shed, and did a comprehensive job of gardening! The idea of "challenge" will be with us this entire summer and we look forward to all the ways this can inspire and motivate us to live out our faith!

 Looking Forward:

  We begin our summer events schedule; Tuesday Mission Beach Clean-Up, Wednesday Cafe Time at Starbucks, Thursday Day/Night at the Beach. Here we go!

 

Youth Group this week:                              RETHINK Methodism #1

We'll begin our summer program with our first week focus on the

founder of Methodism, John Wesley.

Remember that we begin our summer start time of 6:00pm. So eat dinner before you arrive.      

                           

Youth Group next week: July 7                             RETHINK Methodism #2

    We'll continue our summer program with a focus on Grace, Grace, Grace. Why is Grace so important?

Our 2 S.C.U.M. designs are $5 a piece. If you don't have both the Black or Green shirt then pick it up!

They are $10 and come in a variety of colors. All money raised goes to help UMCOR in Haiti.
