   I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!

  Looking Forward:

 What is Christmas all about?  Is Christmas about Santa Claus or Jesus Christ? 

This program brings the youth back to the heart of the holiday.  The birth of Jesus should be a symbol of hope, renewal, and personal rebirth.  This program will attempt to get the youth to look past the endless amount of gifts and the commercialism of Christmas.  This should be a time to appreciate the gifts that we have, to spend time with family, and think about how the life of Jesus will be reborn in us this year.

 

 Youth Group this week:     The Meaning of Christmas #1: The Birth of Something New  

 How is Christmas different from every other holiday? When Jesus was born something new was born. Come and find out what that was and how it is still alive today!

Youth Group next week: December 8     The Meaning of Christmas #2: The Birth of a Revolution

  This week we’ll focus on the birth of Jesus as the “Birth of a Revolution.”  How did his birth and like bring change to the world?  How did it shake-up the way things had always been done before?
