Here's what's going on the week of 12/6.

Looking Back:

  Last Saturday about 15 youth and adult volunteers did some great work at an open space park on the corner of Navajo Rd & Waring Rd for the church's "Labor 4UR Neighbor" service day. In just two hours they were able to clear back trees and brush to create 4 huge piles to be mulched and used as fertilizer around the healthy trees. Thanks for all your hard work!

 What is Christmas all about?  Is Christmas about Santa Claus or Jesus Christ? 

This month we have a number of different opportunities for you to truly feel what this season is all about. We have excellent youth group programs, service opportunities, and fun events! Check out the calendar for more information!

 

 Youth Group this week:     The Meaning of Christmas #2: The Birth of a Revolution 

 This week we’ll focus on the birth of Jesus as the “Birth of a Revolution.”  How did his birth and like bring change to the world?  How did it shake-up the way things had always been done before? 

 Youth Group next week: December 15     The Meaning of Christmas #3: The Birth of Promise                                 

   What promise was grown from the birth of Jesus? How is that promise given to us and how can we share it?
