Here is what's going on this week 6/8.
Last week at Youth Group we had a very good discussion and program on how we are called to practice not only kindness but a deeper more "radical" form of Hospitality. The kind that takes us out of our comfort zones and challenges us to risk what our society, peers, and even ego are telling us. We also talked about how we need to be able to accept radical hospitality as well as share it. Sometimes we feel we are in control when what we really need is to allow a friend, parent, or mentor to help us out. This week youth were challenged to practice "radical hospitality" at home, school, or out in the world.
