Here's what is going on this week 8/31.
Last week:
It was our final week of the summer! Tuesday we went and cleaned up and put a fresh coat of paint on tables, play sets, and the community board at the park at Lake Murray. Then we went over and played softball. Thursday was our final DAB for the summer, the waves were amazing and we had a wonderful time enjoying the beauty of La Jolla Shores.
At youth group we discussed our "alter ego" and how sometimes WE can become our worst adversary. We created our own motto/oath and we want to use it as a "breathe prayer" when we are feeling our "inner HULK" coming out.
This Week:
Youth Group this week: Marvel #5: Sharing Our Strength & Creating a Super Team
We have the power to choose between sharing our strengths and not. We also have the power to allow people to help us in our time of weakness. This week you will discover how sometimes we hide our powers and how we often refuse to allow others to help us in times of trouble.
Questions to consider:
-Where do you find strength?
-How can your life be changed by "teaming up" with people who give you strength?
This Week: Please check below for the latest on this week's events. There might be some changes.
